Kecak Dance
The Kecak is an unusual Balinese dance for a couple
of reasons. First, there is no musical accompaniment.
The gamelan is not there. Rhythm is provided by
a chanting 'monkey' chorus. The polyrhythmic sound
of the chanting provides the name, 'Ke-chak'. You
may watch Kecak Dance in Batubulan Village around
19:00 daily.
Diving in Sanur
Note that the best time to dive this site is early
in the morning due strong current but it is good
for dive courses and general introduction to Bali
underwater. Sanur offers a great variety of coral,
fish and aquatic life.

Art Centre
The art centre is one of the largest and most complete
cultural centre in the archipelago. Designed by
Bali's foremost architecture, Ida Bagus Tugur. The
vast complex, apart from its very real cultural
function, is show place for Balinese temple and
palace architecture.
Bali Art Festival
Bali Art Festival takes place in a huge "Art
Center" located in the heart of the city of
Denpasar. The festival held each year for whole
month (from mid-June to mid-July) give you the best
of Balinese culture and performance.
Bali Museum
Bali Museum is one of the biggest museum in Indonesia
with various type of collections. The Bali Museum,
in Denpasar, Indonesia, houses a collection of Balinese
arts and crafts. The museum building, constructed
in the early 20th century, combines elements of
Balinese temples and palaces.
Puputan Square
A great place for families to hang out in the evenings
is the huge, well-kept park in the middle of town,
named for the bloody 1906 extermination of the island's
ruling class by the Dutch. An heroic-style monument
facing Jl. Surapati commemorates this tragic event.
Badung Traditional Market
This market established third floor are: on the
first floor for any meat, fresh and living chicken,
duck and piglets, on the second floor special for
handicraft, textiles, fruits, vegetables and also
for exotic array of herbs and spices.

Museum Le Mayeur
The museum was born by a love story of Belgian painter
Adrien Jean Le Mayeur de Merpres with Balinese dancer
Ni Polok. He arrived in Bali for the first time
in 1932 at his 52 years old. His first plan was
only for staying in Bali for 8 months in search
for new ideas for his painting creation. Balinese
culture, nature and Ni Polok had startled him of
the strong magic of Bali and totally changed his
vision about life.
Sakenan Temple
The Sakenan temple is Dang Kahyangan Temple which
located in island it called Serangan Island. This
temple divided into two parts, which surrounded
by restricted brick are Masceti Temple on the East
Side and Sakenan Temple on the West Side. |
